Proper packing both protects the parcel and makes it easier for a traveler to say yes. A few simple rules.

Sturdy and compact

  • Pick a strong box or bag that fits — extra empty space causes damage.
  • Wrap fragile items in bubble wrap or foam.
  • Fill it so nothing moves around inside.

Open and show

It's normal for the traveler to see the contents — it builds trust and reduces problems at the border. Don't insist on handing over a sealed parcel.

Labels and weight

State the weight accurately and add "fragile"/"this side up" marks. A wrong weight loses you the right traveler.

Remember: never send prohibited items. If in doubt, check the list.

A well-packed parcel travels faster and cheaper.
